I really hate sprouts, but even I have to admit that there’s something special about going to the garden, chopping a stalk down and cooking them straight away.

Unfortunately, the sprouts are our last veg of the season so it’s back to Waitrose for now (although, we still have 3 sprout plants like this one still in…). Add the copious eggs from Cham and Nix, our two chickens, and it’s been a great home-produced food season (right from last March in fact…).
