Out in the country today, near Chiba, we went for a walk with some family friends to a rice paddy field. We saw a number of tiny little frogs, spiders and beautifult dragonflies with metalic blue bodies but matt black wings. Simply amazing for us.
This small bamboo forest was on the way back near a shortcut back to their house. I’ve always wanted to go to the bamboo road in Kyoto (will look the name up later and edit here) but this will more than do for now
